Heyyy parents long time no see! Today is May 3 which means today is the last full day of being in the beautiful country of israel. Im sooooo sad I dont wanna leave:( we have made so many memories not only as the Calgary class but Calgary and Edmonton were like family now. So yeah its really sad that we have to leave.
Today was a very exciting day! I woke up at 6:00 which is REALLY suprising because Lauren Shimonov does not wake up early Lauren Shimonov wakes up REALLY late. So mom I hope your proud. After we ate breakfast and got on the bus we went to the museum called Beit Hatfutsot. It was about the lives of jewish people outside the land of israel who eventually made there way to israel. We also saw an exhibit about jewish heroes around the world. Then we ate lunch at aroma and went on the bus to go to save a childs heart.
When we arrived at save a childs heart and I listened to a volunteer speaking about what this organization actually does. It was so empowering. We got to play with the kids and it brought me so much joy to see the little faces of the kids with some heart diseases with a smile. After everything they have been through they always had a smile. It just made me think how lucky we really are back in canada. Then we went to michal our tour guides art studio that was a lot of fun. Let me tell you our tour guide is one of a kind. I dont know what im gonna do without her! Lastly we went to the innovation museum. It was really interesting and fascinating to see all the different kinds of types of technologies the people of israel have invented.
Now were getting ready for our last dinner and we are making a dance party!!! Its gonna be so much fun so yeah i need you get ready now but love you mommy cant wait to see you tomorrow!!!!
